Courtney is a freelance Props Designer and Scenic Artist.  From independent web series, to large scale public art pieces--

and everything in between-- she has created looks or added to the aesthetics of projects across multiple media platforms.

While getting her liberal arts  education at Occidental College (Io Triumphe!), Courtney developed her aesthetic for heightened realities, epic landscapes, and thematic color schemes through her work in the design, construction, and scenic artistry for live theater shows; including an epic  (over 500 sq ft) psychedelic mural for Hair! in 2009.

After receiving her BA in Theater, she moved to New York and got a taste for the commercial design world while working as a scenic artist for Fuse television studios, MSG Network, and NBC.

Since being back in LA, she has received her MFA for Film and Television Producing from USC's Stark Producing Program (2013), worked on a number of theatrical scenic/prop projects, and has produced a number of shorts, web content, and live events. Currently, she is working part-time as Assistant Technical Director for Kaiser Permanente's Educational Theater Programs and developing a webseries with a few Oxy Alums, while still fabricating and painting.

with definite form, can speak to the soul in a thousand

     different ways. ”
